Cancellation Policy

Booking changes and cancellations are handled clearly, fairly, and in line with direct-booking operations.

Little Rose is a small hospitality business, so date losses and short-notice cancellations matter operationally. This policy is written to be clear for guests while still protecting the property business properly.

Before you book

Use the practical pages as well as the legal ones.

The strongest direct-booking experience is transparent and useful. Read the legal guidance here, then use the planning pages to check whether Little Rose fits the kind of stay you want.

Why this matters

Good policy pages reduce uncertainty before a guest enquires.

They also protect the owners by making key booking terms visible in advance.

The aim is clarity, not fine print for its own sake.

Policy point 1

Cancellation terms apply from the moment a booking is accepted in writing and any requested deposit is paid. All cancellations must be made in writing using the published booking contact route.

Policy point 2

For direct bookings, the written cancellation schedule supplied with the booking confirmation governs refunds, retained deposits, date changes, and any partial-cancellation treatment. If a stay is booked through Booking.com, Airbnb, or another third-party platform, that platform's cancellation policy applies instead of the direct-booking policy.

Policy point 3

Unless a different written schedule is issued with the booking confirmation, Little Rose may retain some or all monies paid where cancellation happens at short notice and the dates cannot be re-sold.

Policy point 4

Security deposits are treated separately from cancellation charges and are returned subject to post-stay inspection and compliance with the booking terms.

Policy point 5

Guests should notify Little Rose as soon as possible if illness, travel disruption, or an unavoidable change affects the stay, and comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended.
